Mission Statement

Children's Lane is an exciting, creative, hands-on ministry that began in the fall of 1999 in Taiwan for the purpose of:

  • sharing the Good News of the Gospel with the Children of Taiwan in a manner that they can understand

  • training local believers to use creative methods in reaching out to the children close to their own place of meeting

  • providing programs, equipment, and ideas for local believers to use in communicating with the children

We fulfill our purpose in a four-stage process:

  1. train the local believers in the art of clowning puppetry, drama and music

  2. go with them to do the programs in the schools, parks, hospitals, etc.

  3. provide them with the necessary equipment they need to do the programs themselves

  4. release them to reach out themselves using the methods that they have been taught

The children of Taiwan are no different from any other children of the world. They long to know that they are loved, cared for and believed in. The Nation of Taiwan has been wonderful in allowing us to communicate the love and care of God with the children in a way that they can understand. We have an open door in most schools in Taiwan to touch the lives of the children. We are able to share the Gospel freely in most of the schools that we enter. There are some schools, however, where we are limited to sharing Biblical principles and character.
